Most of us live our lives surrounded by four walls. The walls represent the box we place ourselves in. As we get older, the walls seem to "grow" higher and higher, and we find it increasingly difficult to scale them . . . keep reading

Telephone Tips
By Sean M. McKenzie, Burlington Home Inspection
You want them to be your customer, but until the appointment is made, they are simply a 'tough customer' on the other end of that line. What do you say when the phone rings and you hear " …I have just signed a contract and would like to know how much you charge for a home inspection." This usually means one of two things: . . . keep reading

Rebooting the Business or Starting Over
In 2004, I finally had my home inspection business running with some momentum. I no longer worried about when the next booking would come in or loosing business while on vacation.
