Summary: This session explained how the exterior plaster wall system should be built with regard to moisture control. The speaker covered what are the most common exterior plastic veneers with emphasis on hardcoat stucco and thin veneer stone systems.

Speaker Bio: Steven Long has been an independent agent for manufacturers of masonry and concrete accessories used in residential and commercial construction since 1982. He has an extensive educational background in stucco and masonry wall systems and restoration of masonry and concrete. Steve has been educating individuals for many years on plastic veneer construction, specifically to IRC Section 703.6 exterior plaster.
