Risk Management - Myths and Facts

Summary: This session reviewed risk management for Home Inspectors and the myths (how to get yourself into trouble) and facts (how to protect yourself). Please note that the speaker touched briefly on insurance - the focus was on inspection contracts and report writing.

Speaker: Robert W. Pearson, Executive Director, Allen Insurance Group

Speaker Bio:
Robert (Bob) Pearson started a home inspection business in 1985, which gives him a unique perspective into the insurance side of the business. Since 1992, he has been the manager of Allen Insurance Group's program along with maintaining a home inspection business. Bob retired from the home inspection industry in 2000 and has written numerous articles on the topics of claims management and report writing.
