Welcome to the Show! ...and quite a show it was! We began on Sunday with three options for specialized training: PaRR Disaster Housing Inspector Training, CMC Energy Services Home Tune-uP Training, and day 1 of a 2-day Radon Certification. This evening was our Exhibitors Welcome Reception, everyone's first chance to visit with our 40+ exhibitors. Our new Board of Directors were installed and introduced at the General Meeting.

Monday morning kicked off with hundreds of eager inspectors ready to register and grab their goody bags featuring all their speaker handouts on CD (yes, we've gone paperless!). Educational sessions today included day 2 of the Radon Training, Affiliate Showcase, Insulation, Swimming Pool Inspections, Septic Inspections, and New Construction Defects. Many inspectors also attended the ASTM Meeting that was hosted by NAHI. Monday was also our 4th Annual Spouses Event. Thirty spouses and guests gathered for the Bellagio's Ansel Adams Art Tour, lunch at Wolfgang Puck's Spago, and shopping at Caesar's Forum Shops.
Education. Education. Education. Tuesday's sessions included: Heat Exchanger Experts, Geotechnical Property Inspection, Spouse's Roundtable, Flashings, Internet Technology 101, Cover Your Assets, The Cost of Business, and Important Business Owner Tax Information.

This year we debuted the Awards Gala, our Tuesday Evening Event which began with a cocktail reception and then eased into an elegant sit-down dinner of prime rib or chicken. Brad Beyer provided our entertainment, tickling our ears with his voice and piano chords. The Gala was held at the "Top of the Riv" in a large banquet room with a solid wall of windows overlooking the Las Vegas Strip. After dinner was finished, NAHI President Everett Rawlings, CRI guided us through the awards presentation. NAHI's finest received awards for their time and talents given in dedication to the organization. Keynote speaker, Ralph Wirth, CRI followed with encouraging words reminding us that communication is key. The evening concluded with a toast...the entire room raising their light-up NAHI glasses.

A huge thanks to NAHI's Seminar Committee for their hard work and perseverance. A job well done.
