Washington State Licensure (Enacted 2009)
Washington State home inspectors are licensed and regulated under the Department of Licensing. The following requirements apply:
- Successful completion of high school or equivalent
- Successful completion of 120 hours of approved education;
- Successfully completion of up to forty hours of field training supervised by a licensed home inspector
- Successful passage of the written exam approved by the state
