The Nebraska Chapter of NAHI's motto is "Improving the Quality of Inspections Through Education."  Our home inspection chapter meets monthly in Omaha to provide our members with high quality professional training on trade specific topics from local trade professionals.  This consistent training keeps our member home inspectors at the top of their field and as a result they have become the leaders in their local markets.  In addition to our monthly meetings, we also hold an annual seminar where we invite all home inspectors from Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, South Dakota, and Minnesota to attend a grueling 9-hour event that is packed full of the best speakers in their respective trades!  Our members reap the benefit not only of staying on top of their education, but also of making friends in the field, being able to share experiences, and reaching out to fellow members to pool their resources so they can answer arising questions.  In Nebraska and Iowa, where there are no licensing laws currently in effect, it is critical to hire a NAHI Certified Real Estate Inspector to make sure the job is done thoroughly and accurately.

Dick has been involved in the construction industry for more than 35 years as a carpenter and then a remodeling contractor. He established Top to Bottom Home Inspections LLC in February 2004. In 2007 he became a NAHI CRI. He is a member of the Southeast Nebraska Better Business Bureau and the Hastings NE Chamber of Commerce.  Dick conducts inspections throughout Hastings, Grand Island, Kearney, and surrounding areas.

Phill graduated from the ITA program at Oceanside, CA in 2001. Phill decided to start his own Home Inspection Business shortly after. Not only does he Inspect homes, Phill is what you would call a true multi-tasker. Phill is employed at American Meter, a local manufacturing plant in Nebraska City and is part of there Maintenance team. Phill also helps with light construction, helps local contactors build/remodel homes, and tries to juggle family life. Phill has been a NAHI CRI since 2006, and is extremely honored to be NENAHI's Vice President. Phill's Inspection business is inclusive to the South East Nebraska and South West Iowa area.

Wayne Orstad, CRI

Wayne brings over 40 years experience in Construction Engineering, Construction Management and Inspections. His company was established in 1993. Wayne has been a NAHI member since 1993 and a CRI member since 2005. He holds degrees in Construction Engineering and Industrial Technology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Wayne conducts inspections of homes and commercial buildings in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area. He received Specialized training from ITA. Wayne is committed to excellence in the Home Inspection profession.

Mike has over twenty years experience in new home construction and rehabilitation.  He is the past President for Siouxland Habitat for Humanity and past Advisory Board Member of the Salvation Army.  He is currently an Affiliate member of the Greater Sioux City Board of Realtors.  Mike is a graduate of the American Home Inspection Training Institute LTD out of Wisconsin.  He opened his inspection business in 2002 and became a CRI in 2004.  He passed the South Dakota State Licensing Exam in 2002.  He has successfully completed over 1400 home inspections in the tri-state area.  Mike services Northeast Nebraska, Southwest South Dakota and Northwest Iowa.
