After many years in the automotive and home repair industries I decided to become a home inspector and founded Mr. Home Inspector, Inc. in September 2003. After graduating from ITA ( Inspection Training Associates ) I became a member of NAHI and ICNAHI. With my continuing commitment to business and ethical practices I have completed thousands of residential inspections and several light commercial inspections. Through active involvement with our local chamber of commerce and inspector organizations I am committed to helping our Illinois chapter grow in membership and respect throughout the area.

Charles worked for 30+ years in a large corporation, starting as a service technician and leaving as a buyer.   He has competencies in electrical, HVAC plumbing and construction with a background that consists of building many decks, a few additions and a garage.  Along the way he has finished out a few basements, and enjoy working with wood.  His educational background includes studies in electronics engineering and business.  He is a member of the local realty board and am currently the chairperson of a committee involved in local volunteerism and helping the local community.  This board has never allowed non-Realtors to assume the role of chairperson before him.  Charles was the recipient of the realty association's award for Citizenship in 2004.  Charles has performed over 500 Inspections on both residential homes and commercial buildings.

Tom has been a NAHI member since January 2002 and a NAHI CRI member since July, 2004. As a charter member of ICNAHI, Tom has been instrumental in helping the chapter membership grow from 15 members to over 80 members within the last 2 years.  He is committed to improving the skills of all chapter members and raising the awareness of the home inspection profession in the state of Illinois.

Ken has thirty-five years experience in machine design engineering, project engineering and engineering management, primarily in the printing industry.  His company, American Eagle Home Inspections, LLC, was established  in late 2003.  Ken's technical background includes a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Ken has been a NAHI Associate Member since March 2005, a ICNAHI Member since March 2005, and a member of the Hoffman Estates Chamber of Commerce.  His previous technical memberships include the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers, and Illinois Society of Professional Engineers.  He was also a Registered Professional Engineer from 1975 to 2005.

Prior to becoming a Home Inspector, Jerry was an officer with the Chicago Fire Department.  During his work with the Chicago Fire Department, he was involved primarily with insurance inspections.  Jerry started inspecting properties since 1969, as a "hobby job" while on the Chicago Fire Department.  Jerry has performed and been involved in many thousands of inspections, both residential and commercial over the years.  Jerry is a Charter member of the Illinois Chapter of the National Association of Home Inspectors, a Fire Protection Engineer, a State of Illinois Licensed Insurance Producer, and a member of NAHI.
