President: Rob Golden, CRI, Safeguard Home Inspection, Inc, Roswell, GA, Phone: (770) 992-5575, Email: Info@SafeguardInspect.net
Rob Golden, CRI, is the founder and current president of the Georgia Chapter. He formed Safeguard Home Inspection, Inc. in 2002. Prior to entering the world of home inspection, Rob Golden was in charge of the world--sort of. He served as the Senior International News Editor at CNN in a career that began shortly after the birth of the all-news network and lasted for 19 years. "There are many similarities between home inspection and journalism," notes Golden. "In both cases, one must: be a keen observer, have sufficient knowledge of many things, know how to focus on the most important issues, make determinations based on facts and have the ability to communicate complex issues simply, clearly and succinctly." Golden has been involved in residential real estate projects for several years as an investor, renovator and landlord. He has a great appreciation for architecture and construction. He often volunteers building homes with Habitat for Humanity. In 2005, Golden earned the CRI distinction and also obtained ICC (International Code Council) certification. He lives in Roswell, Georgia with his wife and two children.

Treasurer: Scott Dana, Dana Home Inspections, Inc., Roswell, GA, Phone: (404) 849-8293, Email: scottedana@aol.com
Scott got the idea to start his own home inspection business after hiring fellow NAHI member and current Georgia Chapter President, Rob Golden, to inspect an investment property Scott was buying. After completing training with the American Home Inspectors Training Institute in January 2006, Scott soon set out to make a name for himself in the local home inspection industry and is well on his way toward CRI designation. In the meantime, Scott has become code certified and tapped into online marketing opportunities that have lead to great inspection leads. When not out on inspections, Scott spends time in Roswell, GA with his wife, Liesl, and their two young children, Jack & Finn.
